A while back, I decided to remake my first rally playlist (Vinewood Night Stages Rally). The original playlist was used in the San Andreas Rally Championship my friend ran before moving to America to work.
Original Playlist: socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/xboxone/playlists/playlist/0aGv9gNOPEuISX5_7aXAwQ
New Version: socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/xboxone/playlists/playlist/itFcEW1x6U-0iJO96WvBCw
Stage 1 is bascially untouched since the Original. It's bit technical, a fast uphill section at the start into a slower paced downhill hairpin section before picking up the pace in the last section.
Stage 2 is the first of the brand new stages for the rally. This is a fast paced stage through the Vinewood Hills with a very short gravel section at the start of the last section.
Stage 3 is the first of 3 long stages (2.57 miles). This stage starts with a short tarmac straight into an acute left turn onto a hiker trail which brings drivers back onto tarmac for a narrow section on the shore of Lake Vinewood before remerging onto Marlowe Drive & picking up the pace through the luxury homes of the Vinewood Hills all the way back to the Start/Finish Line.
Stage 4 is slightly longer than the previous stage (2.81 miles). It starts with a very long, very fast tarmac section (Marlowe Drive onto Mt Haan Road) which takes drivers onto the roads overlooking Blaine County before giving way to a gravel section that takes drivers into Blaine County proper. This gravel section remerges onto tarmac at Baytree Canyon Avenue, which is a very fast section, something drivers should be cautious about as the small crest before the last corner tends to unsettle the car going into the braking zone for that corner.
Stage 5 is by far the longest stage of the rally, measuring in at 3.36 miles. This is a relatively fast paced stage, with possibly the exception of the gravel section (longest gravel section of the rally) which might slow the pace down a bit. The gravel section gives way to the tarmac roads at the Fort Zancudo entrance before taking drivers up the Rockford Drive back to the Start/Finish Line.
Stage 6 is the shortest stage of the rally by just 0.04 miles (stage distance: 1.95 miles). Stage starts outside the Crastenburg Hotel (Rally HQ) then takes drivers through the luxury homes of the Vinewood Hills for one last time. This is another fast paced stage with the first two sections flying through the luxury homes before taking drivers onto long straight down Vinewood Boulevard.
The last race is just a ceremonial finish for the Rally. A cruise down Vinewood Boulevard before falling in line (in reverse order, so last place first & First place last) to drive over the Finish ramp. Cars must be parked in the parking lot opposite the hotel until the event host decides to end the event. ONLY select people are allowed to park in the Hotel car park, there is also three parking spaces located next to the ramp are reserved for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places (for photo op reasons).
