Oh well; 5 out of the original 18 people who put there names down turned up. (i got a message off 2 people to say they couldn't make it which i appreciate)
To the multitude of people who didn't turn up, you missed a good night (well, i think so smile )
I had messages off everyone who was there saying they enjoyed it; thank you.
The Sanchez Experience for the 360 is taking a long...long break. Too much time and effort went into planning it, creating it and testing it. (and previous meets) for only a few to turn up.
However, I'll stick to what I've said in the past and it's not about the number of people who turn up; it's about putting on a good event and those that do turn up have a laugh and enjoy themselves. I've been to some great meets that have only had a handful or people but you know what after tonight; meh.
My Sanchez is now off the road and stored in the garage.

Thx for popping in last night; hope you enjoyed it.
I put masses of hours into the meets, as do many other hosts; but when only a very few come along i actually get quite disheartened. Don't get me wrong; this might sound really big headed of me, but i'm sure that everyone who comes to my events enjoys themselves but the interest in the events is dwindling fast.
People have a real life which i completely and totally 100% understand (i'm also a real person!) but common courtesy should allow them to drop a message to say they can't attend (a couple did last night which i appreciate)
Take it easy and keep rocking the Sanchez my friend.
P.S. How long before someone posts on this forum of Faceboook that this crew doesn't organise many meets

I just read this, as I explore this strange, new world.. And I wanted to say Yello, that I have enjoyed the events you hosted, made some friends, and had laughs, till i cried...but I know what it is like to have low turnouts. I hosted my first-without a headset , 4 people...had a blast!, My second event me and Tally-lol! It was a party!. My third, no one for the first 35mins. Goatbird happened to log in, and I just sent a request, and he joined...didn't even know it was an event-lol! So I know the dishearted feeling, and yet I felt awesome just playing with one person, or many. Keep hosting, and I'll be there |

I'll be trying to get something done on the 360 at some point as there are some real good guys on it but it's just trying to find the time.

I hear ya! I know that it takes time and effort to achieve a quality product. No pressure, I can wait. But if you were able to help me tweek or improve an event I planned, that would also work. Mostly, I think my idea for an event, and the date I choose are usually within 24hrs, and maybe that is not enough time to get info around...just one of my many queries into organizing an event.
