what ever your off-road experience the "Around Los Santos Off-Road Challenge" is the place to find the toughest climbs, the most picturesque routes, Fresh themes and a great, friendly, mature, patient and respectful group of people !
Starting back in September 2014. The 1st Around LS challenge on Xbox 360 took place.
It started and still continues via the gta forum Thread
(now on its seventieth page, with 60,000 views, over 2000 replys and hundreds of photos and comments)
Its well worth a read.
My 1st meet concept on gta online involved off-roading and helping each other navigate a route around the map. 10 players started and 4 finished. It was a great night lots of fun and we explored parts of the map many had not been to before. But above all else we felt we had done it as a team together. And the feeling was addictive.
From that night, i have continued to host off-road meets on the xbox 360 when the game was released on the xbox 1.
The players that have taken part continue to critique and post photos from each meet (Take a read of the photo comments for a good laugh)
We have welcomed feedback, good or bad and used the suggestions of the players to make off-road meets for the players
While the "Around the Map" challenge still remains a firm favorite, many more themed mini meets have followed. previously themed meets give participants a chance to prepare for a meet.
Many players go to great lengths, buying specific vehicles, dressing characters, posting pre-meet videos.
In an effort to keep the meets fresh, new concepts have been attempted. Including Team events and off-road competitions. The creator is now used extensively, and this is used to create sandbox sections of the meets these have included the Paleto bay beauty pageant, mud wrestling, demo Derby's and other relay races.
Many of the events and meet routes are now published on social club for people to enjoy.
The most important factor in all the meets has always been the people. Many of the players that enjoy the 1st initial meets continue to enjoy them now. There is a strong group of regulars that without, i would not be able to continue hosting meets.
Many of you will know them and they have formed the basis of this amazing crew you all know as the "Off-Road All-stars"
I could say we offer the Best Off-Road Meets within Los Santos.
