A quick question, I watch Hike the Gamer, and his "Rally-video", and they were squabbling over the suspension set-ups, and mine is set to 'race suspension' as its a race car, so do it change it? I don't want to 'bottom out' during my premiere...

I don't believe suspension settings make any difference to the handling; it's purely an aesthetic choice. To confirm it, I tested my 9F at all heights on McKenzie S1 and it handled the same.

Yeah i have to agree i don't think rockstar went to great depths with car settings ie handling brake performance etc

Thanks guys, I appreciate that. I notice that on road, some modded cars, like the Dominator are all over the place, and just wasn't sure. My Sultan seems to handle speed, but the brakes are a bit mushy...even at "Race" level...but its already paid for...meh?!

Yeah most of the muscle cars have the same characteristics but modding the handling ie brakes suspension does effectively have no effect on performance lol

Will move this conversation over to the roar chat section. But I leave u this: some of the quicker drivers have the suspension set to standard

I would have to say it does make a difference. Especially on my Kurumas. I run my rally one on stock suspension and it doesn't roll as much, neither does it bottom out and such. As for Competition suspension it does have a tendency to roll a little bit more. Stock suspension on this car in my opinion is the best for my style of driving. No this is not all in my head, I have 10 Kurumas in all (1 armoured and 9 standard) and have done extensive testing.

Ok, then I heard we get points for neatness..lol! And it makes it better for anyone reading threads...so if I had a root beer, I'd say "cheers" and slam it, but I don't...so I'm just gonna say thanks And I had another suspension query, if you have bulletproof tyres say on a Sandking, and stock suspension, does it make the truck bounce more? or is it a 360 thing?

I've tried different suspension setting on the Sandking to reduce bounce and while i can't tell a difference, i keep it lowered to the max to make it look slightly different to the normal. To be fair though, it's very rare i use the Sandking. Ax to the tyres, not a clue. I keep bulletproof tyres on each and every vehicle

I like the bounce on the sandking it helps me get over the bigger rocks, if u control it it your friend, especially is mad u turn you power down it makes it easier. I tested the feltzer with standard suspension last night. I though the acceleration was slower, but not as much slide in the corners, and it turned in easier on the dirt. Standard suspension is for me I will be trying out the last round stages and seeing how my laps compare

It really won't matter what suspension setting i use; i'll still crash and burn

Yeah, Steve the bouncing helps over big rocks, but I have to work on my 'control'..lol! I just find that sometimes it happens in great quantities and other times not so much. And I notice that one with bulletproof tyres sometimes is more bouncy. I recently got a Sandking XL, so I'll paint it orange like 'Tigger'..
