I'm really curious to know whether anyone's ever genuinely thought about their character for GTAO, maybe even created a backstory in their heads for them. I know I have, there are several different versions and god knows I'll create other ones... but then, I'm a creative sausage and I do love coming up with that sort of thing. Are there details about your character that you've thought about? And do you ever find that those details slip into your everyday playing of your character? Dare I ask... do you ever roleplay with your character?

Indeed I do! Of course, I'm not really sure how to explain her character in words... She's pretty well-developed in my head, though.
She's actually a lot like Trevor in a sense... she's not a bad person exactly, but every now and then she'll go out and use the Vespucci bathers as ramps for her Sanchez or snipe out the tires of cars on the freeway. Just for the hell of it.
There's much more depth than that, obviously, but I don't feel like typing out her entire story right now.

For sure! Probably during a break from school or when I'm just really bored.

Yes Roxy is a pretty fully formed character in my head. Full backstory and ongoing story arch. I have even thought of typing the whole thing out on and off for some time.

I have a male and female characters. I like to think that they are a couple... well a dysfunctional couple. Jim's her sugar daddy and Jenny likes to use his money. She occasionally takes a job to make money but for the most part he is the money maker. Jenny has two properties, a high end near the beach and a house up north that she actually lives in. She likes to keep away from the madness of living in the city. Jim has three properties, he owns the same apartment near the beach, a high end apartment dead in the middle of the city, and a garage at the airport. They're strategic spawn points that offer unique advantages.

My character stug is generally a dreamer and has aspirations of bigger and better things but nine times outta ten when he is on the verge of achieving his dreams he does a complete 180 and changes his mind .....biker no wait mafia er no mercenary oh sod it ill be a lone wolf haha he can never quite decide. Same with vehicles his first love first and for most is SPEED and risk taking so the sanchez2 fits his main criteria but he loves rally racing and offroad craziness also. So the sandking swb and the dubsta are his main weapons of choice but there are variations on those options. Muscle cars are also a love of his such as the dominator and the vigero which he likes nothing more than to drift around the city streets as the warm sunshine soaks into his skin whilst also trying to avoid truckers elbow! And when the mood takes him he gets his lime green banshee out and spins around the streets like a crazed maniac. Dress sense .....well in a nutshell he has none haha but again whatever he wears there does seem to be some coordination even if very hard to spot. And when not drifting or blasting his sandking up an impossible climb he gets his kicks from inflicting pain on any noob that thinks it might be funny to attack him......BIG MISTAKE!! because he will then kill the offender and anyone associated with them and there vehicles regardless of cost lol. Stug loves his tattoos and when chilling he just sits and people watches searching for the perfect piece of female ass.
He has three properties one up the top end of the map near chiliad mountain as he likes to escape the rat race and sometimes is sick of sniping random members of the public or running down the street with his mini gun lol. And two properties in the city at strategic sites close to branches of Los santos customs.

I just saw this, and as you know I am an intuitive sort. My character 'Sarge' was coined when I took a Facebook quiz, regarding 'Your nickname", or something like that. I have never had a nickname. Except for derogatory ones my brother gave me. So I took the quiz, and I was given "Sarge". Kinda odd, since I am not military...but I went with it. Two weeks later, I get my 360. Sitting there for a few minutes, 'Enter character name' section...I had to fire up the pc and see what the nickname was again. And I put in Sarge. He should have tattoos, but not covered in them. He should have a nice car, and definitely a motorbike. But also a pedal bike, to parallel my real life no car life. And I have my hair short, so Sarge has a buzz cut. Little things like that helped shape him into the character that I began writing stories about a few months ago. But to me, he really developed a few minutes after a certain leader of this amazing crew 'accepted' my request to join this crew. My and Sarge's life have never been better, and with the recent acension, and new office for Sarge. It can't help but become stellar.
